ERIN WINSOR
Erin Winsor was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland. She began singing with Peter MacDonald when she was ten years old and then continued on to perform in community productions around St. John's. Although Erin has always had a passion for sports, she became more and more inwrapped with performance, that eventually she only had time to watch some games on TV. She worked with many incredible directors in St. John's throughout high school including Peter MacDonald, Tolson Barrington, Keith Pike and Jacinta Mackey Graham.
In 2010 Erin graduated from Gonzaga High School where she performed in their production of Damn Yankees. That same year she was accepted into the prestigious Musical Theatre Program at Sheridan College. While at Sheridan she was lucky enough to work with an extremely talented class, an amazing faculty and many astounding professionals such as Richard Ouzounian, Scott Christian, Stephanie Graham, Jim Betts, David Ferry and many more. Erin was honoured to be a part of the original production of David Hein and Irene Sancoff's musical Come From Away about Newfoundland during September 11th, 2001.
Erin graduated from Sheridan College April 2013. After finishing up with her third summer in Trinity with some of Newfoundland's best , Erin starred in a successful run as Mary Poppins in Theatre St. John's production. She is now working at the Newfoundland Chocolate Company and looking forward to perfoming her first show with Spirit of Newfoundland in their upcoming Christmas show, before she hits the Arts and Culture Centre stage of Les Miserables in February.
Erin would like to thank all of her family members and friends that have been supportive of her career and life choices. "Thank you"
